Granite Care Letter

    Dear Customer,

    Our Bellinzoni Products

Thank you for doing business with Take It For Granite, LLC. Enclosed with this letter is your Super Seal by Bellinzoni. The Super Seal is a special polymer that penetrates deeply into the stone, repelling oil and water stains, dirt, and grease while letting the stone breathe. Excellent for protecting very porous, unpolished stones, such as, antique marble, flamed stones, and polished surfaces as well. It’s UV resistant and will not change the natural color of the stone.

Take It For Granite, LLC also sells Pora Seal which seals and strengthens very porous materials such as travertine, sandstone, limestone, and cotto. Pora Seal also repairs and prevents further damage to stone by acting as a repellent for oil, grease, and water. Pora Seal will also enhance the color of your stone.

The MultiClean Daily Stone Cleaner—MultiClean is a heavy duty concentrated detergent for cleaning all washable surfaces especially marble, granite, and quartz countertops. MultiClean is a concentrate of active nonflammable substances particularly for removing dirt and stains. MultiClean is ph balanced specifically for deep cleaning stone surfaces without removing the natural shine. It is non-caustic, 90 % biodegradable, and can be used on all stone regardless of finish.

Directions are on the bottles which are relatively self-explanatory. However, if you have any questions regarding usage please feel free to call Take It For Granite, LLC. We again thank you for your business and hope to do business again with you in the future.

    Thank you,

    Take It For Granite, LLC

    *Please Note:

If you choose to buy a cleaner from another source make sure the label says the cleaner is non-caustic and made especially for granite or natural stone. Caustic means that the cleaner contains acid which will break down the sealer and cause damage to your granite and also leave it looking dull. An example of caustic cleaners that you should never use on granite is Windex, 409, Pledge, etc…Since granite does not harbor bacteria soap and water can be used for daily cleaning. The sealer left at your jobsite needs to be used only once a year for darker granites and every six months for lighter stones.

Care & Cleaning Instructions According to MIA Standards (www.marble-institute.com)

Clean stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a clean rag mop on floors and a soft cloth for other surfaces for best results. Too much cleaner of soap may leave a film and cause streaks. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar, or other acids on granite, marble, or limestone. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Change the rinse water frequently. Do not use scouring powders or creams; these products contain abrasives that may scratch the surface.
