What is a fabricator?

A fabricator cuts and installs your granite…transforming it into your countertop, fireplace or tub surround, vanity, etc...

What is the price of my granite?

Granite varies according to what color you select for your project. If you know what color of granite you would like to use, let the person preparing your quote know so that he or she can price you for that particular color. The price of granite depends largely on where it comes from and if that color is easily quarried. For example, granite that is rarer is therefore more expensive and vice versa.

How many slabs do I need?

The amount of slabs your job requires depends upon you layout. Please fax, mail, email, or stop by with your layout, and we’ll be happy to let you know the amount of slabs you will need for your project.

When do I need to select my material?

A general rule is that granite should be selected during the dry wall stage or slightly earlier if possible. Our distributor Daltile will only hold slabs for 30 days before releasing them. We will hold slabs from our shop longer with a deposit. However, the longer Granite stays on hold, the more risk there is for breakage and damage. Please note that Daltile does not handle customer pricing and cannot give accurate granite categories. Please call Take It For Granite, LLC to obtain accurate pricing and ranges.

What times can I view/move my material?

We are open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. You don’t need an appointment to come in during the week; however, calling ahead is helpful to make sure someone is available to help you and workers are in the shop to move material. We are also open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00  pm by appointment only. Saturdays are for viewing only. Slabs cannot be moved on Saturdays since there are no workers in our shop.

 Can I bring my children?

Our warehouse is extremely dangerous. No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the warehouse. This is strictly enforced for the safety of your family. However, if bringing children is necessary, someone in our office will be happy to set with your child/children.
